Getting Started[]

The purpose of this tutorial is to familiarize yourself the basics of modding for Delver. You should have some basic knowledge of working with files and folders, and how to use an archive utility to extract it's contents.

First of all you must locate your Delver jar file. If you bought Delver through the Steam page.

For the Steam version, this is where you will find your .jar:

C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Delver

Create a Mods Folder[]

Folder

In the same directory as the Delver jar file, create a folder called 'Mods'. Delver looks for this folder, so it is important that it is name 'Mods'. This is where you will put all of your custom content. *Note: the picture on the Right shows an 'assets' folder, make sure it's 'Mods' instead!*

Extracting Assets From Delver[]

Open the Delver jar file with an archive utility program, and take note of the file structure. It is important that you have the same names and hierarchies present in the jar file.

These is what it should look like, with only the files that can be changed by modding. All other files are unnecessary.
